Dear colleague,

It is our pleasure to inform you of the organisation of the International Workshop on Radiation Protection of Medical Staff, ORAMED 2011, which will be host by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain, from January 20 to 22, 2011. The workshop will mainly focus on the dissemination of the European FP7 ORAMED project results, together with the participation of invited speakers from professional societies and International bodies involved in the field of radiation protection.

The ORAMED 2011 Workshop will offer an ideal opportunity for the exchange of ideas with the  common goal of improving radiation protection of medical staff. Together with the ORAMED consortium, the programme Committee counts with the collaboration of the IAEA, the EC DG-RCD, EURADOS and the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council and aims at ensuring dissemination of the most recent findings in this field.
